​Ms. Chan began her journey into dance at the young age of 3, making her debut dance performance on national television by the age of 6. She has trained under renown teachers Doris Yang and Carmen Ng, and has also done cultural exchange and formal dance training in Beijing. During her tenure at the University of Toronto, she had the opportunity to further her knowledge in Chinese culture and history in performance arts.

As a competitive dancer, Ms. Chan has received numerous awards including 1st place at Northern Talent Dance Competition in Toronto for her solo dance, Miao Girl, Gold and Top 5 at Canadian National Dance Championships Nationals Finals in Calgary, and First Place at Ontario International Dance Festival.

​

Ms. Chan has participated in numerous international tours during her career as as a dancer, including an Honorary Invitation from Dr. Stanley Ho to Macau and Hong Kong, and the International Folkore Dance Festival in Mexico. Ms. Chan performed for countless TV stations, and has been a dancer for celebrities Liza Wang and Hai.

Ms. Chan has also received the Ontario Volunteer Award for over 15 years of dedicated service within the dance community.
